Metadata checking

It is advised to check the metadata for shots when they are rst loaded on the Transfer Station for Mac OS X. This is a valuable opportunity

to correct any mistakes or identify any issues that may have happened on set. This will minimise the chance of any problems later in post-

production.

Click on the thumbnail/shotname to highlight the rst shot on the Roll. Then click the ‘Filecard’ icon, or press F on your keyboard as a shortcut,

to open the Filecard where you can view and edit metadata:

With the Filecard open you can press the down arrow (cursor key) on your keyboard to view metadata for the next shot. It is advisable to rst

check that all existing metadata looks correct and sensible, and also to check for anything in the Log Note box:
